4. Vaccine strategy
4.1 Vaccine Type
ANU supports all WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines, including but not limited to Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson's Janssen, and AstraZeneca. Please note that the global availability of these vaccines is subject to change based on World Health Organization guidelines and recommendations, so new vaccine types may be added to this list.
4.2 Vaccine upload
Once vaccinated, students will need to upload proof of their vaccinations on the university's student portal. This certificate must clearly indicate the student's full name, date of vaccination, and the type and batch of vaccines received. If the original document is not in English, then a professional English translation is required. For two-dose vaccinations, proof of vaccination for both doses needs to be uploaded.
4.3 Medical Examination Raiders
(1) Physical examination process
Before enrolling, students need to undergo a medical examination at a medical institution designated or recognized by the Australian National University. This physical exam includes a comprehensive health assessment, including vision and hearing tests, chest X-rays, blood tests, and urine tests. The medical examination results must be issued directly in English by the medical institution, or provide an official English translation. You will need to upload your medical examination results through the ANU student portal.
(3) Tips for special situations
If students have any long-term or important health problems, such as diabetes, heart disease, mental illness, etc., or are receiving certain medications, they need to provide detailed medical records and doctor's contact information so that the school can provide appropriate support and Adjustment.
4.4 nucleic acid detection report
Within 72 hours before arriving in Australia, all students are required to undergo a nucleic acid test and provide a negative test report. This report needs to be in English, or have an official English translation. This report needs to be shown when you enter Australia.
